Inca Trail Recovery Massage in Aguas Calientes

Four days on the Inca Trail, the climb up Huayna Picchu or the Salkantay trek leave most travelers with heavy calves, tight thighs and tired feet. If you are staying in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), a recovery massage before your train back to Cusco is one of the best things you can do for your body.
Which massage is best after the hike?
- Sports Massage: Legs (60 min, S/ 130) – focused on calves, thighs, glutes, knees and soles. Our most requested massage after Machu Picchu.
- Inka Deep Tissue Release Massage (60 min S/ 130 · 90 min S/ 160) – full body, firm pressure for back, shoulders and legs.
- Foot Reflexology (60 min, S/ 120) – ideal if your feet hurt most after the stairs.
- Hot Volcanic Stone Massage – warm stones to loosen stiff muscles and help you sleep after a long day.
When should I book my massage?
Most guests come the afternoon or evening after visiting Machu Picchu, or on the morning before their train. We are open every day (Mon 8:00 am – 10:00 pm · Tue–Sun 9:00 am – 10:00 pm). In high season (May–September) message us on WhatsApp in advance so we can hold a time for you.
Tips for sore legs after hiking
- Drink plenty of water before and after your massage.
- Tell your therapist where it hurts most (knees, calves, lower back) and what pressure you like.
- Gentle walking and stretching the next day helps the recovery continue.
- If you have an injury or a medical condition, let us know before the session.
Easy to find
We are on Calle Kori Wakanki 505, in the center of Aguas Calientes, a short walk from the train station and the bus stop for Machu Picchu. See the map on our location page.
